BEM Publications, one of the most natural and successful consequences of the work of Brasil em Mente, has developed a specific catalogue for the communities of speakers of the Portuguese language who reside outside of their countries of origin. Specific to this area, our mission is:
- To produce didactic material for the teaching of Portuguese, as well as literature in Portuguese for those who speak the various modalities of the language; and
- To bring to the world works in Portuguese that position authors and editorial markets in a space of internationalization of this language and the related cultures.
The catalogue that Brasil em Mente has been developing since 2012, and currently has 5 didactic books, and 3 written by expatriated women, one of which is bilingual. In 2017 our catalogue will grow and will have 3 collections of children's literature, as well as other bilingual titles.
